About PROCIMM

The Postgraduate program stricto sensu, Academic Master's Degree in Science, Innovation and Modeling in Materials at the Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz (PROCIMM UESC) has existed since 2010 and is structured around the concentration in Materials Science and Technology.

We have two lines of research: Synthesis and Characterization of Materials and Modeling and Simulation in Materials.

The first line of research aims to characterize and modify materials, seeking to improve their various properties, whether physical, chemical, electrical, optical and mechanical.

The second line of research seeks the development and application of mathematical models, numerical methods and computational techniques to solve problems related to the characterization, development and applications of materials.
